What we count
We store daily totals of public page loads and coarse referral categories, fully answered quiz submissions, first fully answered submissions per lesson page instance, and practice-file or worksheet link clicks. Clicks do not confirm saved downloads; submissions do not establish learning or course completion. No unique learner count is calculated.
Quiz answers, scores, notes and FileMaker file contents are not sent to Filesoft. We do not use analytics cookies, fingerprinting or persistent learner identifiers. An optional analytics-off preference is stored locally if you choose it.
Storage and controls
Aggregate counters are retained without a scheduled expiry, consistent with existing website activity totals. The site also keeps separate coarse country/device totals derived during page requests; raw IP addresses and browser details are not stored in these counters. Normal server security operations are separate from course analytics.
Local previews, staging, recognized automated browsers, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are excluded by the tracking code. Blocking requests can omit counts. Recognized bots are excluded where possible; this is not a count of people.
