What we check.
Matching parentheses and square brackets, closing double quotes, backslash escapes, closing block comments and escaped field names in ${…}. Line comments and nested block comments are preserved.
Formatting works with the structure used by Let, Case, If, While, JSON functions and nested calls. Function spelling and case remain as entered.
A useful first check.
This is a structural checker, not a complete FileMaker syntax validator. Balanced text can still be an invalid calculation.
We do not check argument counts, missing operators or semicolons, function availability, variable scope, field references, data types, privileges, performance or results. Custom functions and plug-in calls are preserved, not verified.
Use FileMaker’s calculation editor and Data Viewer for full validation in your solution. This tool does not run FileMaker.

Your calculation stays with you.
Formatting and checking happen in this tab. We never upload your calculation, output or clipboard contents, and we do not save calculation history. Clear removes the input and output; reloading starts fresh. Copies and downloaded files remain under your control.
We count page loads using the page address and a broad referral category, with separate approximate country and device totals. These are aggregate counts, not unique visitors or purchases. Browser privacy signals and the analytics-off preference disable visit counting. The preference is saved locally; your calculation is not.
