Coverage & privacy

DDR Explorer indexes fields, scripts, layouts, table occurrences, tables, relationships, value lists, custom functions, custom menus and file options. It follows explicit DDR references; it does not execute calculations or infer dynamically constructed names.

Any text searches readable XML text and descriptive attribute values, including text outside the object catalogs. Numeric-only and boolean attributes, XML comments and embedded image/binary resource subtrees are excluded. Results are text matches, not dependency evidence. Very long detail text is truncated and labelled. “No references found” applies only to the imported reports and supported reference forms. It is not a safe-to-delete assessment.

Files are read in a browser worker and kept in memory. Clear project or reload to discard them. No project storage, analytics, remote fonts or upload endpoints are used. CSV exports are saved locally by you.
