Reject unexpected existing transaction; settle prior record edits first.
Generate request and line IDs explicitly. Link by RequestID.
Keep validation enabled; capture errors after each fallible operation.
Include error handling for layout selection, record creation and field writes.
Revert on failure; remember control jumps to paired Commit Transaction.
Capture final error immediately after paired Commit Transaction.
Success only after commit. Return a caller-visible failure otherwise.
Test valid pair, invalid second line AFTER earlier writes, commit validation,
existing-transaction rejection and another intentional invocation.
Find attempted ID in both tables after failure; preserve unrelated records.
Reopen and check successful record persistence.
Do not promise rollback of emails/HTTP; duplicate retries need their own policy.
Owner/native reviewer: record exact version, cases, actual results.
